The Art Center of Western Colorado and Museums of Western Colorado announced plans Monday morning for a cooperative exhibit, titled, “Happy Trails: Early Colorado in the Storytelling Art of Harold Bryant and Jack Roberts,” opening Dec. 5.

The exhibit will combine works from mid-20th century artists Harold Bryant and Jack Roberts, depicting historical scenes of cowboys, open ranges, and Ute indigenous people, among other subjects.

Art Center of Western Colorado Executive Director Lee Borden said he was “thrilled to be collaborating with The Museum of Western Colorado on these exhibitions,” in a press release, adding, “A partnership between our two … institutions is long overdue and is a natural fit. I couldn’t be happier.”
