Manchester United produced their worst league display of the season as they lost 1-0 to 10-man Everton at Old Trafford on Monday night. The Reds started slowly but were handed a boost when Idrissa Gueye was sent off after clashing with teammate Michael Keane.
United went behind just before the half hour mark. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall went on a weaving run before firing into the top corner of Senne Lammens' goal.
In the second half, United attempted to force the issue but did not do nearly enough to break down the resolute 10 men. Joshua Zirkzee had two headers saved by Jordan Pickford but Everton were good value for their win.
