Christmas shoppers were left in shock after a fight between two notorious Travellers with a history of animosity bringing part of a city's popular festive markets to a standstill. ‌

The violence erupted outside Selfridges at 4.35pm in Manchester city centre, when hardman Dougie Joyce, recently released from prison, and his long-time foe Simon ‘Simey’ McGinley were involved in a scrap outside the high-end department store. ‌

The initial part of the scrap, captured on video and shared online, showed the pair fighting before falling to the ground, the MEN reports. ‌
