The popular South Korean romantic comedy series True Beauty is coming to Netflix US in December 2025! This will be the first time that the series has been available to stream from the US library.

True Beauty is a South Korean romantic comedy series directed by Kim Sang Hyub (Extraordinary You) and written by screenwriter Lee Shi Eun (Lovely Runner) , and is an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name by author Yaongyi. The series was originally broadcast on the South Korean cable network tvN from December 9, 2020, to February 4, 2021, and was available to stream outside Korea on Amazon Prime Video, Viki, and Rakuten Viki.

The series is centred on Lim Joo Kyung (played by Mun Ka Young), a high school girl who rises to the top of her school after becoming a YouTube makeup star
