EVANSVILLE – If you run out of fridge space on Thanksgiving, good news: you can put the drinks outside and they'll stay plenty cold.
According to the National Weather Service forecast, temperatures in the Evansville area will barely reach the 40s on Thursday. The high should top out around 43 degrees, with the low careening down to 23. And the wind will make things seem even cooler. Gusts could top out at 18 miles-per-hour during the day before calming in the evening.
None of that will bring a chance of rain, however. The NWS expects sunny skies all day.
The holiday's part of a prolonged cold stretch in Evansville. Friday evening could even bring a chance of snow showers, with a low around 29.
It is late November, after all, so that's all pretty typical for Thanksgiving time in Evansvi
