It's time to take a look at the standout high school performers from the Akron area. With football the only fall sport still competing, we will spend the next several weeks highlighting the standout performers in each fall sport before winter sports are in full swing.

We continue this week with girls volleyball, girls tennis and girls and boys soccer.

Your vote will determine the readers' choice for the top boys and girls performers in each sport. Each athlete's credentials are listed above the poll, which will be live until 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28. The winners will be announced Saturday morning, Nov. 29, on BeaconJournal.com .
