Iron County Care and Share officials are celebrating a recent logistical boost from a local storage unit rental business.

James Jetton, director of Iron County Care and Share, said the donation of storage space at Zion State Storage will help the organization better serve people transitioning from homelessness into a situation where they are housed.

“We've got this amazing community that donates items to Care and Share and other organizations in order to help folks that are coming out of homelessness,” Jetton said, adding, “Unfortunately, most of the nonprofits doing this kind of work don't have enough storage, so it's very hard for us to build an inventory to assist people as they move out of homelessness.”
