Anna Kepner’s stepmother is asking a judge to seal court records in a child custody case involving Kepner’s younger stepbrother, who is under investigation for her “suspected murder” on a Carnival cruise ship, court documents show.
Kepner’s paternal grandparents said they were told by the FBI that their 18-year-old granddaughter died of asphyxiation and showed no signs of sexual assault, drug use or alcohol use.
“The room steward that was going in to clean the room is the one that found her,” Jeffrey Kepner told ABC News in an interview that aired Monday.
