The brother of a woman who was killed by a dangerous driver doing 63mph in a 40mph zone has told the killer motorist - 'I forgive you'.
"Kind" Lucy Atkins, 20, and her dog Simba were killed when a car driven by Danielle Mitten ploughed into them in West Boulevard, Quinton, on June 24 last year.
West Midlands Police established Mitten had been driving at up to 82mph before the crash, more than double the 40mph speed limit.
Ms Atkins and her Lakeland Terrier were hit at 63mph.

Mitten pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and she was jailed for five years and four months on Friday, November 21.
