The time is almost upon us. After a two year wait, the final season of Stranger Things will be dropping over the next couple of months, and we’ll be finding out the fate of our favourite gang of Hawkins kids .

There’s a lot of ground to cover. The season four finale ended with the villainous Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) opening up a portal to the Upside Down in the middle of the town, causing massive rifts to appear in the ground, and fires to engulf pretty much everything else.

Basically, it looked like the apocalypse, and things probably haven’t gotten much better this season. At least, not according to the trailer, which teased more Demogorgons, a US army presence and yet more challenges in wait for Eleven ( Millie Bobby Brown ) and her friends.
