What we learned about three of Fayetteville's girls' hoops teams

The high school girls' basketball season has arrived, and most Fayetteville-area teams have opened up competition over the last two weeks.

Terry Sanford hosted the HoopState Lady Baller Tip-Off on Saturday, Nov. 22, with Westover, Pine Forest, and the Bulldogs featuring as Fayetteville teams in the tournament.

Of the three, Westover was the sole winner of the day to move to 3-0 for the first time since the 2008-09 season.
