A federal judge has tossed the criminal indictments against New York Attorney General Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey, ruling the Trump administration’s interim U.S. attorney who brought the charges was not properly appointed.
The dismissal, which was without prejudice, addresses only procedural flaws — not the truth of the allegations.
