Sylvia Douglas Daniels passed away peacefully in the early hours of Nov. 21, 2025, surrounded by love.
She was born June 22, 1942, in Murray, Utah, to Gordon Douglas and Ruby Losser Douglas. She was the oldest of six children: Nancy Morgan (Ken), Diane Ries, Carrie Bruno, David Douglas (Gina) and Debbie Douglas.
Food was an important part of Sylvia’s life. She worked for many years at Cottonwood Hospital, overseeing their food services. She was always trying new recipes for her children to try. She loved hosting Christmas Eve surrounded by her children and grandchildren. In her later years, she loved reading recipe books and imagining hosting dinner parties again.
