Even at full price — £599 — this is a very affordable soundbar, all things considered. If you want Dolby Atmos, you're going to have to accept paying extra for the room-filling, expansive soundscape that comes with immersive audio. Quality speakers don't come cheap, and that's just a fact.

If you want to upgrade your home cinema setup for as little dosh as poss, then I wholeheartedly recommend the Samsung Q600F. It's the best mid-range soundbar I've ever tested, and right now it's priced like a budget one thanks to Black Friday. I'd run to Currys to snag this before the discount vanishes.
