Louisiana singer Dustin Gaspard gave it his all in a battle to stay on “The Voice,” but his time on the hit reality singing show came to an end Monday night .
His coach, Niall Horan, appreciated Gaspard’s rendition of “She Talks to Angels” by The Black Crowes but chose singer Kirbi to advance on after the Knockouts Round.
Gaspard, who is from Cow Island in Vermillion Parish, showed the world his Cajun roots through his song selection, musical talent and telling of his life in Acadiana.
One thing is for sure — Gaspard made his home state proud. Here’s a recap of his performances on the show.
