An 87-year-old Minotola woman was killed in a three-car crash in Vineland on Monday, Nov. 24, authorities said.
At 2:12 p.m., officers responded to N. Lincoln Avenue and Maple Avenue after a 2009 Honda Civic was traveling southbound on N. Lincoln when it collided with a white 1989 Ford pickup truck driven by a 36-year-old Vineland man, Vineland police said.
The pickup truck was hauling an 18-foot transport vehicle trailer, police said. The Civic was was redirected into oncoming traffic in the northbound lane of travel and was hit by a white 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe head-on, police said.
Ramona Sansalone, the driver of the Civic, was airlifted to Cooper University where she was pronounced dead, police said.
One other person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said
The crash remains under investigation, police said.
