The “Stranger Things” cast has grown up on the set of the Netflix series.
When season 1 premiered in 2016, Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) and Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven/Jane Hopper) were pre-teens, while Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin Henderson), and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) were in their early teens.
Now in their 20s, the young stars reprised their roles one final time in season 5 of “Stranger Things,” which kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 26. During a recent interview with Time , Schnapp said he feels a kinship with the cast of the “Harry Potter” films, who also came of age before viewers’ eyes.
“Their experience of growing up on set was exactly like ours. I would love, actually, to one day sit down with them and just talk and relate to each other,” he said.
