Text messages and Cash App records showed a Maryland man provided a Franklin County man with a fatal mix of drugs in May, according to court documents filed this week.
Pennsylvania State Police said phone records showed James Verdier, 56, sent $750 on May 21 to Donovan Robinson, 30, of Glen Burnie, Maryland.
The next morning, Verdier’s wife found him dead in their Guilford Township home from an overdose of cocaine, fentanyl, and dextromethorphan.
Robinson was the last person Verdier talked to before he died, police wrote in an affidavit of probable cause filed Monday.
“See you this afternoon? Need a little boy too,” Verdier texted on May 21, according to the affidavit. Court documents said the message was insinuating Verdier wanted to buy drugs from Robinson.
“Boutta pull up,” Robinso
