With only days to go before Black Friday and the start of the gift-giving season, the Mall at Partridge Creek finds itself in the news for the wrong reasons.

Despite a flurry of new stores and activities to lure shoppers, the outdoor shopping center on Hall Road in Clinton Township is awaiting word of an arrest for a gunman who caused a panic there on Sunday night.
