A fire was burning through a building in west London, thought to be storing fireworks, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) said on Tuesday.

Emergency services have declared a major incident, with some 150 firefighters and 25 fire engines on site attempting to quell the blaze in the two-storey building on Bridge Road in Southall.

LFB said three-quarters of the structure, consisting of a warehouse and retail space, was on fire.

Crews from Southall, Heston, Ealing and surrounding fire stations are responding to the incident, the LFB said.
