California resident Stacey Frost knows North East . Now, through her think tank Urban Re:Vision, Frost is quietly making plans with the input of local residents and business owners on how to revitalize the grape-farming community.
It started with a 422-acre farm in the country. Then came a historic brick building in the heart of downtown.
A vacant lot where an apartment complex once stood until being destroyed by fire.
A 125-year-old commercial building across from Gibson Park that municipal officials once eyed for demolition was also in the mix, and so was its meeting with a bulldozer.
