Russell Crowe Predicts Steve Irwin’s Reaction to Robert Irwin’s DWTS Run

Russell Crowe is thinking of the late Crocodile Hunter.

As Steve Irwin ’s son Robert Irwin waltzes into the season 34 finale of Dancing with the Stars , the Gladiator star shared how he thought his late friend would have fared on the competition series.

“Although Steve could read the rhythms of the seasons and every living creature, he was absolutely not gifted with a sense of musical rhythm,” Russell, 61, joked to The New York Times in an interview published Nov. 25. “In his hands, a tambourine became a deadly weapon.”

However, he doesn’t believe Robert picked up on that gene. After all, the 21-year-old and his partner Witney Carson have been collecting wins on the ballroom floor this season, including receiving their first perfect
