Martin Odegaard could make his first appearance in nearly two months when Arsenal take on Bayern Munich .
Gunners captain Odegaard has been out of action since the start of last month after injuring his knee .
The Norwegian, however, took part in training on Tuesday afternoon and should be in the squad on Wednesday when the Gunners host Bayern.
Mikel Arteta confirmed that the midfielder could be in contention to face the Bundesliga outfit, saying in his pre-match press conference: “We are going to have a meeting now to decide as well on Martin.
“He was very close for the previous game. We are hopeful that tomorrow he can be in the squad as well.”
Arsenal are still set to be without a recognised striker, though, as Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres were absent from training.
