ROSEVILLE, Calif. —

A Tuesday morning crash has left one person dead near a community park, the Roseville Police Department said.

Officers just before 7 a.m. responded to a call about a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Rocky Ridge Drive near Johnson Ranch Drive by Maidu Regional Park, police said.

The motorcyclist died of his injuries, police said. Details on his age were not released, and he has not been identified.

Because of the crash, all lanes of Rocky Ridge Drive between Loretto and Maidu drives are closed, police said. There is no estimated time of reopening.

Police said they do not have any information as to whether DUI was a factor in the crash.
