San Francisco police arrested a man suspected of killing an Ingleside resident during a burglary, the department said Monday.

Just after 3 p.m. Sunday, officers responded in the 200 block of Granada Avenue to a report of a burglary at a residence. Officers arrived and found an adult victim suffering from injuries. Officers began rendering aid, including CPR, the department said. Paramedics also responded to the scene and rendered aid as well. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders and medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, a well-being check in the area of 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard uncovered a man who allegedly matched the description of the person of interest in the burglary homicide.
