PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Pet Project is accepting nominations for its 23rd annual Hero Awards ceremony, honoring animals that have done Something Good to help their owners.
Online nominations for pets that have made a difference in their families’ lives are open through Sunday and can be made on azpetproject.org .
“We have five different categories, so there is something for everybody. If you have an animal that you love, and think they’ve done something heroic, we want your nomination,” said Leanna Taylor, CEO of The Arizona Pet Project.
A Hero Award recognizes animals that have made an impact through service or personal survival. These animals may have acted to save a person’s life, performed services within the community or overcome devastating circumstances to survive and
