Parker Wotherspoon nearly doubled his previous NHL experience by logging 55 games with the Bruins last season, finishing as a minus-10. The Penguins signing Wotherspoon to a two-year deal with an average annual value of $1 million this past summer … yeah, didn’t move the needle much.
Yet, somehow they’ve formed an elite defensive pairing.
