The Dodgers have dominated MLB in landing Japanese stars in recent years, so when the Seibu Lions posted ace Tatsuya Imai, it was expected that he might want to join fellow countrymen Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani and Roki Sasaki in Los Angeles.
But speaking on “Hodo Station,” Imai revealed something is more enticing to him than helping the Dodgers to a World Series three-peat — he’d rather take them down.
