Automatic recounts are coming for the Hudson at-large City Council race and the Twinsburg school board race.
In Ohio, an automatic recount is triggered race when the vote difference between winning and losing candidates is equal to or less than a certain percentage of total votes cast. The election board must order an automatic recount when the difference between votes cast for a declared winner and loser is equal to or less than 0.5% of total votes cast.
In Hudson , challenger Kyle Brezovec appeared to defeat incumbent Chris Banweg by 36 votes.
Meanwhile in Twinsburg , incumbent school board member Lea Travis seemingly lost narrowly to Chris Kraska by a three-vote margin.
