Gear up for an active holiday stretch as a soggy Tuesday leads us into some big changes in the forecast heading into the holiday rush.
Showers will remain scattered through the second half of Tuesday and into Tuesday night with winds picking up from time to time. Temperatures will remain mild after dark and hold nearly steady overnight into Wednesday morning.
Scattered showers will lead us out the door for the Wednesday morning commute, with a line of more widespread gusty showers late morning and into the midday hours. Temperatures from there will then fall out of the low 50s, ushering in a band of scattered light snow showers before the day is through. Wednesday will also remain windy with wind gusts between 30 and 40 mph throughout the second half of the day.
