LAS VEGAS —
Iowa State could be without its star point guard Tuesday.
The Cyclones are set to take on Creighton at 1 p.m. in the second day of the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas. Iowa State defeated No. 14 St. John's 83-82 Monday to begin the event with a win.
But point guard Tamin Lipsey came up hobbled late in the game and checked out for the final minute. Iowa State held on for the win, but Lipsey did not return.
His status was considered "day to day" with soreness. About two hours before tip-off, CBS Sports insider Jon Rothstein reported Lipsey will be a game-time decision.
