The Montana State men’s basketball program announced last week the signing of Daniel “DJ” Johnson and Hale Hansen for the 2026-27 season, cementing the first two members of the Bobcats’ 2026 signing class.
Johnson and Hansen will each enter Montana State as freshmen in the fall of 2026, adding to a strong group of Bobcat guards while providing young talent for the program. Johnson will join the Bobcats from Auburn, Washington, while Hansen hails from Phoenix, Arizona.
“We are very excited to welcome both DJ Johnson and Hale Hansen to the Montana State basketball family,” head coach Matt Logie said. “DJ and Hale were identified early on in our process as young men who had the passion for the game and competing that will make them terrific fits here at MSU.”
