A St. Boniface business owner who previously raised concerns about safety and crime at a Manitoba Housing complex says the atmosphere at 101 Marion St. has “improved significantly” in recent months following changes introduced by the province.
The individual, who asked to remain anonymous out of concern for their business and nearby residents, told the that Manitoba Housing has reinstated 55-plus restrictions at the property, added new signage, and increased visible security around the site.

“It looks like they have recently gone back to 55+, with a lot of signage on the building and an increased security presence,” the whistleblower said. “The atmosphere in and around the building has improved significantly.”
