With each team coming off first-round upsets in the playoffs, both East Coweta and Walton looked to keep their Cinderella story alive.

East Coweta failed to get anything going offensively in their season-ending loss to the Walton Raiders, 49-14.

The Indians quickly found themselves down after Walton scored a rushing touchdown on the opening drive.

After an Indians interception on their first offensive drive, the East Coweta defense forced a turnover on downs.

Led by a string of receptions, the Indians attempted a 57-yard field goal to chip away at the Walton lead. The field goal was blocked by the Walton defense.

Walton scored four more unanswered touchdowns. To break the streak, the Indians finally got on the board with a kickoff return by junior receiver Chance Gilbert.
