Dean Saunders loves to natter. That much was true when he joined us on our Claret & Blue podcast to reminisce about his Aston Villa career. Dean became a firm fans favourite when his goals and his personality illuminated Villa Park during the early to mid-1990s.
He won over the claret and blue faithful by scoring twice on a dream Villa home debut against his former club Liverpool. But his brilliant brace in a 4-2 victory over the Reds in September 1992 was overshadowed by a hilarious moment that supporters still laugh about 33 years on.
Ronnie Rosenthal's miss. It has been a feature of bloopers reels ever since.
