Dean Saunders loves to natter. That much was true when he joined us on our Claret & Blue podcast to reminisce about his Aston Villa career. Dean became a firm fans favourite when his goals and his personality illuminated Villa Park during the early to mid-1990s.

He won over the claret and blue faithful by scoring twice on a dream Villa home debut against his former club Liverpool. But his brilliant brace in a 4-2 victory over the Reds in September 1992 was overshadowed by a hilarious moment that supporters still laugh about 33 years on.

Ronnie Rosenthal's miss. It has been a feature of bloopers reels ever since.

Liverpool's Israeli striker looked like he had the simplest task in the world when he rounded Nigel Spink on the edge of the area to leave himself with an open goal.
