** LEVEL 1/5 SEVERE RISK TODAY**
Definitely a soggy start to our Tuesday, and the rain and storms won’t stop there. Areas east of I-65 are still under that marginal 1/5 risk for another line of storms that will push through around lunchtime and last throughout the afternoon. The main threats will continue to include damaging winds, heavy rainfall, hail, and a low-end threat for a brief spin-up tornado. Any storms are expected to move out by evening. Highs today will reach the upper 60s.
By Wednesday, calm and cooler conditions are expected, with highs dropping into the upper 50s thanks to the cold front that moves through today. A rogue shower or two is possible, but most will stay dry with clouds gradually clearing by the afternoon.
