An upset resident files a 311 complaint about the situation on Salcombe and Stoughton streets in Dorchester ever since they became speedy cut-throughs for drivers trying to avoid the new speed bumps on Pleasant Street:

Speeding has become a significant issue on Salcombe Street and Stoughton since the Pleasant Street speed bumps have been installed. There are many children in the area and with speeding (particularly up the hill on Salcombe) I am concerned someone will get hit. Can we get on a list for speed bumps here? If not, can police patrol more frequently? It seems to be worse after dark.
