FOUR LAKES, Wash. — A fatal two-vehicle crash has closed eastbound traffic on Highway 904 near Four Lakes, approximately 4 miles north of Cheney, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The collision occurred at 9:24 a.m. What was initially reported as a serious injury collision was later confirmed as a fatality.

WSP said investigators will keep the roadway closed for several hours.

WSDOT East advises drivers to use alternative routes as traffic control remains in place.

The identity of the person killed has not been released.
