ALLEN PARK -- Tate Ratledge feels like he’s grown a lot since what was “probably the worst game of my life” the first time around against the Green Bay Packers.
Ratledge has 10 more starts under his belt at right guard and has shown signs of being a powerful run blocker. But back in Week 1, there were miscommunication issues and struggles on the interior offensive line, leading to an ugly loss.
He allowed three pressures and one sack in the season-opening loss. There have been rookie bumps along the way, but there have also been some impressive moments. The second-round pick in last year’s draft hasn’t allowed a sack since Week 5, with nine pressures and only two quarterback hits surrendered in that span.
