Airports like Charleston International are asking travelers to “pack their patience” this week, as airlines and airports prepare for the busiest Thanksgiving in 15 years.

The Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Security Administration are preparing for more than 360,000 flights nationwide that will carry an estimated 17.8 million people from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2.
