BELOIT, Wis. — A local city manager is stepping down from his role.
Beloit City Manager Jerry Gabrielatos announced on Tuesday he is stepping away from his position ahead of his contract expiring to pursue the next chapter in his professional career. Gabrielatos made the announcement in a letter addressed to the Beloit community.
"Managing a city requires full commitment and energy, and this decision reflects where I am personally and professionally at this moment," Gabrielatos wrote.
Gabrielatos said he was proud of the work that was accomplished during his tenure.
"Through Satellite City Halls, presentations to community groups, and service with organizations like the Rotary Club, we increased City Hall’s visibility and accessibility," Gabrielatos wrote. "I am especially proud of
