WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Progress is being made toward a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, according to the White House. However, Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelenskyy says “much work” has to be done before anything is finalized.

President Trump is enlisting more manpower to get this deal inked.

Tuesday morning, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll met with Russian leaders in Abu Dhabi, while American counterparts held tandem talks in Geneva.

The big hangup here is that some view the current plan as too favorable to Russia.

It would include land concessions and military downsizing on Ukraine’s part.

Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen, who sits on the foreign relations committee and grew up as an ambassador’s child, believe Ukraine is getting the raw end of the deal.
