CHICAGO (WMTV) - Slender Man stabbing attacker Morgan Geyser waived her extradition Tuesday and will return to Wisconsin.

Geyser appeared briefly in Cook County Court, where she signed the waiver and learned she would not get bond, according to reporting from WMTV’s NBC affiliate TMJ4.

Wisconsin now has 30 days to bring Geyser, 23, back to the state.

The Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office said Monday that the Governor’s Office is in contact with authorities on handling the case.

Once Geyser is returned to Waukesha County, where the stabbing case originated, it will be up to Wisconsin Department of Health Services to decide on her conditional release.
