RFK Stadium, the home of the Washington NFL franchise for more than three decades, has been demolished, paving the way for construction of the Commanders’ new stadium.

In September, the Washington Commanders finally got the green light for construction of a new venue to be built on the same site as RFK Stadium. Now, the only thing left of the historic stadium is memories.

On Tuesday morning, the New York Times White House correspondent Annie Karni posted a photo of the stadium’s demolition:
