Authorities located remains in a wooded area after a tipster called a Washington, D.C., morning radio show claiming he discovered the victim’s body.

The Frederick Police Department said a news release shared on Tuesday, Nov. 25, announced that the remains were found off South East Street and Monocacy Boulevard near a roundabout.

“Responding officers and detectives located the body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition,”
