Ray Pfortner will present an eagerly anticipated program for the Vashon Bird Alliance (VBA) on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. at the Vashon Maury Island Land Trust Building.

Although Pfortner is a very accomplished artist, teacher and editor, on Vashon he is perhaps best known for documenting the beauty and magic of our natural world.

He has inspired and nourished generations of young photographers, and teaches classes ranging from middle school-aged to university students and beyond.
