BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Blinn College’s top human resources administrator has left her position, days after KBTX asked the college about her past criminal charges, including the sexual assault of a child while she worked as a teacher in College Station ISD.

Marie Kirby served as Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and Blinn’s head Title IX administrator for more than five years. Before her appointment, she had held senior roles in the college’s human resources department since 2008. As vice chancellor, Kirby had ultimate oversight in investigating sexual misconduct complaints at the college.

Late in the week of Nov. 17, Blinn College removed all mentions of Kirby from its website and updated organizational charts on Friday, Nov. 21.
