A worker picking up debris along Interstate 65 was airlifted to a Chicago Monday afternoon after a truck hit his parked vehicle which then careened into him.

Around 2:30 p.m. Monday, Indiana State troopers responded to a crash on I-65 southbound about one mile north of 61st Avenue, according to an ISP news release.

A white 2006 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling in the right lane when, for unknown reasons, it left its lane and struck the parked F-150 at a high rate of speed.
