TULSA, OK — According to sources, the car radio was switched off after beloved but massively overplayed Christmas song "Santa Baby" came on the radio for the fifth time in the span of an hour.

"I don't hate the song, but it's everywhere," said one eyewitness. "I mean, Eartha Kitt is a legend, and this song is a great one for sure, but I don't think I can handle hearing it-oh, it's on again."

Officials reported hearing the Christmas tune played on the local easy listening radio station five times over the course of an hour and decided it was just too much.

"I had to turn it off. I just couldn't deal with ‘hurry down the chimney tonight' anymore. It's up there with that Mariah Carey song. Why can't someone write a few good new Christmas songs? I don't imagine it would be that hard. I mean
