Canada West has locked in its roster for the 2025 Junior A World Challenge, and teams from both the SJHL and MJHL will be heavily represented when the tournament begins December 7th in Trois-Rivières, Quebec.

Yorkton Terriers defenceman Thomas Ries headlines six SJHL players selected. The 19-year-old has been one of the league’s top blueliners this season with 19 points in 20 games. Also named from the SJHL are Kindersley’s Jaxon Herchak, Melfort’s Tao Flory, Humboldt’s Rylan Hue, Flin Flon’s Wyatt Stinton, and Warman goaltender Taye Timmerman.

Four MJHL players have also made the national lineup: Steinbach’s Brody Green, Selkirk’s Remy Hlady, Dauphin’s Ethan Stewart, and Virden’s Colten Worthington.
